What is an Executive Chef?
Assist in preparation of required reports such as revenue and payroll, as well as placing food and equipment orders
Collaborate with the food and beverage manager on daily operations of the department and the property
Create and monitor the budget, and work with the manager and directors in developing the annual budget as well as maximizing revenues and profits
The executive chef is responsible for kitchen operations including menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and sanitation. This position directs the training of culinary staff and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods to ensure an efficient and profitable food service.
