What is a Front Desk Agent?
Welcome each guest by helping them check-in and check-out for their rooms. They work with a computer system to look up the reservation, create room keys and inform the guest of all hotel information
Answer calls spanning from future guests calling to make reservations, current guests asking for room service, transportation or recommendations, or calls about room pricing, amenities or event venues
Collect money and handle credit card transactions, handle calls and transfers, make reservations and inform guests on any questions they have
Front desk agents are the first interaction guests have with the hotel, so it’s essential to be friendly, welcoming, and enjoy helping people. Front desk agents work to fulfill customer needs and reservations as well as hotel administrative tasks.
