Community Kitchen at the Houston Food Bank is a 12-week job training program for adults 18 and over. The program provides four job training components: culinary fundamentals, ServSafe certification, job readiness and life and career coaching.

Students will learn in a variety of different ways; through practicing daily cooking skills in a working kitchen to learning classic culinary technique and terminology in a classroom. A student advisor will work daily with the students and offer coaching, resume writing workshops, mock interviews and help with job search.
